Habanero Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
1 lb. Raw chicken wings
3 Tbsp. Butter
1 to 2 Tbsp. Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly (depending on preferred heat level)
Directions:
Melt butter and pepper jelly in a saucepan on stove top. Add chicken wings and coat generously. Bake at 250 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes. Raise oven temperature to 425 degrees and bake an additional 20 – 25 minutes. Monitor to avoid burning.
Spicy Bleu Cheese Wing Dip
Ingredients:
1 cup Chunky Bleu Cheese Dressing
1 to 2 Tbsp. Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly (depending on preferred heat level)
Directions:
Microwave pepper jelly approximately 15 – 20 seconds to loosen up. Blend well with the dressing. Serve with chicken wings, celery, chips, and as a topping on burgers, Brats, etc.
Thai Peanut Sauce
Ingredients:
3 to 4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup olive oil
1-½ cups chunky peanut butter
1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
1 Tsp. powdered ginger
1 to 2 Tbsp. Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly (depending on preferred heat level)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in saucepan on stove top. Add minced garlic. Saute’ about 30 seconds. Stir in chunky peanut butter. Continue heating and stirring until peanut butter is melted and mixed well with garlic and olive oil. Add soy sauce and ginger. Mix well. Add desired amount of pepper jelly and mix well. If sauce is thicker than desired, add water or chicken broth to desired consistency. Serve over grilled or baked chicken and rice.
Brownies with a kick
Ingredients:
1 dozen Brownie Bites
Approximately ½ cup Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly
Whipped Cream Cheese
Shaved Chocolate
Directions:
Scoop out center of Brownie Bites and fill each with pepper jelly. Let stand for at least two hours (preferably overnight) to allow jelly to soak into chocolate. Seal with a dollop of whipped cream cheese. Top with shaved chocolate.
Spicy Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 – 2 lbs. cooked meatballs (frozen or fresh)
½ to 2/3 cup Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly (depending on preferred heat level)
Directions:
Microwave pepper jelly until liquid form. Turn Crockpot setting to high and begin adding meatballs, stirring to be sure each meatball is coated with pepper jelly. Continue until all meatballs have been added, stirred, and coated. Heat on high for approximately two hours, stirring regularly to be sure meatballs on the bottom don’t burn. Once meatballs are heated through, reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally. Serve with Brimstone Originals Spicy Bleu Cheese Wing Dip.
Habanero Citrus Glaze
Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh salmon
¼ cup fresh lime juice
½ cup chopped cilantro
½ cup minced garlic
¼ cup Brimstone Originals Habanero Pepper Jelly
1 T. olive oil
Directions:
Microwave pepper jelly until liquid form. Turn Crockpot setting to high and begin adding meatballs, stirring to be sure each meatball is coated with pepper jelly. Continue until all meatballs have been added, stirred, and coated. Heat on high for approximately two hours, stirring regularly to be sure meatballs on the bottom don’t burn. Once meatballs are heated through, reduce heat to low. Stir occasionally. Serve with Brimstone Originals Spicy Bleu Cheese Wing Dip.
