Spicy Cranberry Quinoa and Kale
Ingredients:
1 pouch Path of Life® Organic Quinoa & Kale with Garlic, olive oil & sea
salt
½ cup Brimstone Originals Cranberry Jalapeño Pepper Jelly
Juice from 1/3 fresh lemon
Directions:
Microwave Quinoa & Kale according to package directions. When finished, pour into a bowl. Microwave cranberry jalapeño pepper jelly 20 seconds. Add lemon juice. Blend mixture into Quinoa & Kale for a wonderful side dish or to add to a salad.
Cranberry Jalapeño Baked Brie
Ingredients:
1 refrigerated package croissant dough
1 large wheel of Brie
1 and 1/2 cups Brimstone Originals Cranberry Jalapeño Pepper Jelly
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lay croissant dough over a round pie plate allowing dough edges to exceed edge of pie plate. Using a sharp serrated bread knife, cut Brie in half horizontally. Set top half aside and place bottom half on top of dough. Spread cranberry jalapeño pepper jelly over bottom half of Brie. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Place remaining Brie half on top and wrap with pastry being sure to seal tightly. Bake approximately 20 minutes or until dough is golden brown.
Cranberry Jalapeño Horsey Sauce
Ingredients:
1 11.5 oz. jar Brimstone Originals Cranberry Jalapeño Pepper Jelly
3 – 4 Tbsp. creamy horseradish
Directions:
Blend well. Warm in microwave 20 – 30 seconds. Drizzle over slices of roasted pork tenderloin, prime rib, and turkey.
Cheesy Cranberry Turkey Grilled Sandwich
Ingredients:
Two slices bread (white, whole wheat, rye, etc.)
3 T. butter
Several slices roast turkey
2 slices Swiss cheese
1 T. Brimstone Originals Cranberry Jalapeño Pepper Jelly
1 T. creamy horseradish
Directions:
Blend pepper jelly with creamy horseradish and spread on each slice of bread. Stack the turkey and cheese on one slice and top with other slice of bread. Heat a skillet on medium on stove top. Add the butter. When melted and sizzling, lay the sandwich in the skillet and cover. Check underside regularly. When toasted, flip the sandwich and continue grilling until cheese begins oozing out sides of sandwich. When done, place sandwich on a serving plate.
